Juan L. Andreu

I work in the Impressionist manner in combination with my creative and learning processes, searching my expressive language from a variety of subjects ranging from the Spanish bull, still lives, landscapes and the figure.

I often use sculpture as an interdisciplinary subject of support and inspiration, because I believe that the combination of artistic disciplines is important with significant results. I have often approached my paintings as sculptures and am presently exploring these processes and their possibilities, to develop a personal identification between my narrative and the final form that reaches the public.

I am currently exploring form and emotion in a consistent dialogue with light and volume. I have my own aesthetic norms and walk my own path.
